doubt thy would occur here.....
I know what Ur sayin and appreciate it.
But I highly doubt that it would work equally as well here.

When I and most others I know book a charter with a guide it's cause they are on those waters consistently. They know the spots currently holding fish.
And if a guide is gonna try and fish two areas 4 hours away from each other and that are totally differnt styles I think that guide will have a hard time " staying on the bite".

"Well I know he did a trip with will drost a few weeks ago.... "

That was nothing more than a trip trade. He came here to check out the wading sceen, will return favor in Lake P.

PS - I don't think there is enough room in the lake for W and Dumas! :haha:

Default Dumas on BigLake

Well after reading threw most of this post I figured I would chime in now. Dumas will be in trouble later this spring when they have to open all the spillways to keep the Mississippi River and the Atchafalya river from flooding everything. So enable to provide for his family it might make sense for him to try and make a move to Big Lake. Also the people on this side of the state overall are much friendlier and crime is lower so maybe he is tired of living in the chocolate city.

last time them opened those spill ways the trout fishin was fine in the lake. The initial flow dirtied the water but the fishin never fell off. It actually lead to some huge trout bein caught in the lake during summer and fall. So don't think that the opening of the spillways will hurt the fishin.
