I fish with Terry St Cyr a couple times a year in GI. We always use croakers and catch big fish. I consider him one of finest fisherman in the state. We will be fishing at the end of June. I'll post pics!

Talk to him about Carl Miller when u go. He fell of the earth. Ask him what happened to him. He knows him.

He might not have anything good to say about him! Haha but when I was in high school, if St. Cyr didn't win the rodeo then Carl Miller won. But I hear he ran from the IRS back to Illinois where his family is from.

His name does sound familar. I might have heard a couple of stories about him. Did he use to fish with coakers?

If a tourney allows any bait to be used then live bait will win most of the time .
probably over 75% of the time. I will fish w/ what ever puts fish in my box.
Being that i only get to fish 5 or 6 times a year now ,I use live bait if it's available .
If ya don't like live bait ,DON"T use it . but the guys that win the money do.

Masters,,,,let's compare.
BassMasters?? How many soak brim??? None

Your not a troutmaster if your go to bait is live.....
Your only a Master if you use artificial only.....

BassMasters don't use live so TroutMasters should follow... Chink or any other that are live bait soakers are just fisherman...nothing more

I was wondering what happened to Steve Shook. I've seen some of the big fish he's brought in before from the Timbalier area. Yeah, he used the biggest pogies he could catch. When fishing there w/ my uncle and cousins the only thing we could ever catch on them big pogies was bull reds and sharks.

The one time I fished seabrook, turned into the best fishing trip I ever had. I've went there twice since and couldn't buy a bite. the first time was before the mrgo closure, and the others were after.
