I have a Cobia, which is the same hull as the Pathfinder, comes out of the same mold, but thicker fiberglass and higher sides.
I have rode in a 24 Pathfinder out of Leeville also. The Haynie rides just as good or better in rough water. I was very surprised cause it is so light. The best thing about the Haynie is that you can customize how you want the topsides to look. Factory boats you cannot. |

the wood is really no problem unless its used in the transom. almost all boats mg's that say no wood still use wood for the consoles and other non structural parts of the boat. as long as the stringers and transom are glass it should be good to go.

that boat is light for having any kind of wood in it. Ive always heard that a 3 blade has a better top end than a 4 blade. If this is true, hate to see what it would do then. I have a 22' pathy with 200 hpdi. When it was new I had gotten 63 gps out of it, with only me in the boat,15 gal. of gas and a lifejacket.lol since then I added lots of goodies and gear to it. Now, more in the 54-56 range. 63 is terrifically fast for all the stuff you got in that boat. That rocks.
