Duce rods is now under new ownership and will be bringing new rods to market soon and has updated their warranty dept and customer service.

All joking aside it's a below average rod, including blank and components. I know all you West siders tried real hard to like the rod, but the company couldn't even service all the warranty claims in only 3 or 4 parishes.

When the Duce group showed up 2 years ago at the Gonzales sportsmans show they had a booth and I talked to the Duce group. Being I have had many custom rods made I noticed the color the feel of the rod and I knew it was a batson blank ,and I asked the Duce group was this a batson blank and he said Yes. That's how I know I asked them. W I hope that Enlightens you.

They make 4 levels of blanks, and to answer your question they have had quality issues with all 4 levels. In terms you can understand they brake more than they should. Are you the guy that said Kistler puts Helium in there rods?
