it is worrysome to see the saints come out every year with a team that is filled with guys nobody will recognize as anything but average guys that seam to find a way to get the job done (most of the time) but aren't anything special. besides brees and graham there are no other players that stand out and I think graham does good only because brees doesn't have anyone else.
there is a lot to be said for going after talent instead of guys with name recognition but when they don't go after the big names and end up with mediocre results every year you wonder if the don't mind risking not winning as much in order to protect the bottom line. yes "on paper" we had a good defense but you would never know that while you are watching the games and every game we get off to a good start only to have the defense give up a big lead while the offense tries to run out the clock and it all too often gets down to the last play of the game to see who wins. I have grey hair high blood pressure and no fingernails because of them lol.
one thing is for sure, nobody with the saints is taking any advice from guys on the internet (thank goodness) so all we can do is ......
