Thanks so much, guys, for your thoughts and prayers.

They transported my dad to Hattiesburg last night and did emergency bypass surgery at 2:00 am. He had a valve replacement done a couple years ago, but other than that, he's really had no heart-related problems. The doctors seem to think that, with no unforeseen complications, he should be good for another 87 years. They don't seem too concerned that the heart attack did any permanent damage. He was in good spirits after recovery. He could be released as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.

Awesome news! Seeing my dad for the first time after his quadruple bypass several years back was a HUGE eye opener for me. I was like a little kid all over again vulnerable and scared... Very happy for you guys.

So happy for you, Salty. I don't know any of you guys, but it was nice to see how many prayer's went up for Salty's dad. So thankful for answered prayers. I lost my dad..aka, best friend 6 months ago, so seeing Salty's dad making a recovery is awesome! Time for more great memories..
