There you go.......making too much common sense..........

To got ANY check you should have to DO something.......even if it's a simple as sitting your fat *** on the sofa and staying sober

Kids don't want to work or earn nothing !!

Some do get an upbringing like peddlers kids but most are lost in lack of earning it

I don't ever want to depend on 1 penny from the Goverment ever !!

I can make a living using my hands if need be !!

It has been said that many people would rather not work at all if they could not get the pay they wanted. I have actually seen this first hand, been told this when offering someone a job. "Id rather stay at home and do nothing then work for that" and Im talking a $20 hr starting job.

It blows my mind. But heres my question, how do these people live? how do they get by, how do they keep the lights on, pay the mortgage, put gas in their car, put food on the table? how ? how? I understand there is Gov assistants but is that system so fruitful one can turn down 20$ an hr

And its not just recently, Id have to say Ive seen this mentality for the last 15-20 yrs, I don't get it.

I have worked my entire life since I was 14, and even earlier on G dads farm. Id like to think Im a smart guy, not much boggles me. Im in aviation and we see ALOT of new tech all the time and I get it, but this whole living, getting by with out a job really does boggles me, Im dumbfounded by it, I cant wrap my mind around how you can "live" with out a job. Ive never had to use gov assistance so maybe I just don't understand how it works, how it can allow you to turn down good paying jobs.

Now Im not talking about retired peps, hell I hope to be retired or semi in 5 yrs, Im talking people in their 20s-30s. Maybe Im not seeing something

This really has bothered me for some time now, yrs and yrs, do you have an answer?
It's all in the way you were raised and the way that you raise your children. It's cutting Grandpaw's grass for $10 to buy something you want. We all spoil our children today because times aren't that rough. They grow up never knowing what it's like to do without.

When I was was growing up I didn't even know that it was an option. I truly thought you were obligated by law to have a job. Like some of you have already stated, it's all about how you were raised.

I was really surprised when Rita blew threw S.W. Louisiana how many of the hardworking ,independent don't ever want nothing from the gooberment types were in line for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING they could get free..... Like disaster food stamps, red cross money, fema money, road home, mre's, you name it, if it was free they wanted it whether they even needed it or not.

Simple, they don't have the greatest motivator of all time.....hunger. As long as we enable their behavior, which we won't, it will continue getting worse and then most people will be dependent on the govt for their care and they will be owned and America will be over. We're almost there. I hate to sound so pessimistic but after Tuesday nights Sotu address...boys we're in trouble...

soooo There I was last night at 630p at the quick care with my son (he ended up having the flu) Im all signed in, theres an elderly couple in already there, and thats all. The elderly couple gets called back, so its just us waiting.

In bust some extremely loud *** kids yelling and screaming like they were raising in the jungle........... So while the LARGE female democrap is still filling out her welfare paper work, they call her and her offspring to come back, all along Im thinking here I am paying for my sons visit, as well this sorry ***'s doctors visit and they call her back while I have been waiting 20 mins with my sick son.

I piped up and said "HEY! excuse me but we have been sitting here waiting to see the Dr for 20 mins, this person just walks in, isn't even finished with her paper work and gets called before us, whats up with that? whos in charge here I want to talk to them!"

The nurse closes the door, and comes back in less then a minute and calls us back..................

Its coming, and not soon enough!!

I know plenty of Democrats that go to work everyday and have all of their life. Not sure where you get your information from.

If you look at the voting precinct numbers you will see that their voter turnout is extremely low compared to 10 plus years ago. And that's not statistics, it's facts.

The problem is that the working man won't get off their azz and vote.... Have a good day!!

Back in the Reagan era, my mom once found herself unemployed due to catastrophic events at her place of work. Having paid into the system for many years, she began to talk about applying for the applicable government handouts.

My brothers and I would hear nothing of this, even though we were in college and my mom's contributions were an important part of our support. We encouraged my mom to move to Baton Rouge and share an apartment with us to reduce costs while she looked for a job. It was a humbling and inconvenient experience for everyone, but she eventually found work and had a productive and rewarding career in a new field until she retired.
