Guys, I got the spot for it. Yall can bring tents and stay on site instead of having to drive back home. Mr Crab knows the place. Plenty of room.

NO BS OPINIONS...
I threw this idea out to see if a few guys wanted to cook, drink a few, and hang out.
It is getting more attention than I ever though it would.
Talks of trophies already. What is your realistic expectations for a first year event and are you willing to show up and help it grow if your expectations aren't met?
I don't see the 1st annual (hopefully) gumbo cook off being a huge success. It is however something we can build on. J

Bama's QB was dialed in Saturday and no denying that. Was the sloppiest first half of football I ever saw though. 6 first halg TD's and all from turnovers. Well played 2cnd half by bama though.

Just a lil FYI for the organizer(s). If you know someone with a business that sells certain products the guys would enjoy(outdoor cooking, seasoning/rubs)if you appeal to them and explain what you are doing and that proceeds will be donated to a worthy cause, most will more often than not contribute a donation as a prize.
