Damn it seems like the ranger jumped his boat. His talon is bent and his cowling seems to be missing... Why would that be if it was just a collision. Just trying to picture it in my head.

Bet the impact alone would knock the cowling off, I can't imagine that

You really look like an arse when you hit what had to be on of the brightest colored boats on the water.

Ok I talked to my friend. He was the angler paired with the boater( yellow skeeter) they went to make a blind left hand turn @ 60 mph and took the outside which is correct (pass on the right) and a boat (ranger) was making a right hand turn and took it to wide . Collided with the yellow skeeter on the passenger side and barrel rolled over the skeeter . The motor from the ranger hit the motor from skeeter while barrel rolling over and caused the skeeter to do a 360 onto the bank . Passenger of ranger bailed out in time driver got trapped but eventually came loose and swam to safety . My buddy was the most banged up out of the 4 involved and broke over $3000.00 in rods/reels . So the lesson learned.... Don't blow around blind corners @ 60 mph

Easy to do in the spillway.
In 1993 I almost hit a boat doing a similar turn as the ranger.
It was so close I can say I was just frozen for a few seconds after I stopped.
Now I slow down and look both ways.
It is the reason I now carry liability on my both of my boats.
Today with bigger and faster boats on water things like this can happen easily.

Just a slight adjustment on the trajectory of how the ranger jumped and both of them could no longer be here. Very fortunate.
