They definitely have some big ones in North Carolina. I went on a charter trip out of Wilmington a few years back and they guaranteed a flounder at least 5 pounds (I don't know how they could guarantee that but they kept their word), and if you caught one over 8 pounds they gave you a plaque. We caught flounder in the 3-5 pound range consistently and my buddy stuck one that went just over 8. That one was a beast so I can't imagine how a 10 pounder would look!
