You can buy flooring at Lumber Liquidators for $1.99. Why pay to join this scam?

Pttf, please tell what " high quality" hardwood floors you are putting in your house for 1.99????? Solid hardwood???? Maybe engineered wood that is plywood with a 3/16 wear layer of hardwood! Dude you have no clue! The SOLID antique heart pine floors that are site sanded and finished that is going in my house next week cost 15.00/ sqft installed that's 10/ft in wood! So don't cone on here talking like you know quality! You might know cheap budget spec house but there is a big difference bud!

Dude.... Do u work for direct buy??? Lol

If Ur looking and desperate for a deal ...... Ur mind will make any bag of poop look like a deal.
Were giving u facts and customer reviews.
ESP when pox gives an answer/ opinion.... He builds top notch custom homes.
My dad is in the home buidling industy.... 40 years.
He has said the same stuff about issues of warranty, install.
Direct buy is set up to wow you with low prices & massive stores.
The sales crew is overly pushy & ignorant to say the least!!!
If I'm gonna buy building materials I'm going to get a contractor to help..... Not some kid in a shirt & slacks who needs a commission......

I am a contractor, I build 500,000.00 + custom homes and if a client bought floors from direct buy or any other supplier other than ones I have a good working relationship with I will NOT warranty the work. There is a reason it is cheaper, same as lumber liquidators either they are 2nd's in quality or discontinued, or a lower quality version made for direct buy. Same thing with let's say delta faucet model # 1234 , I can buy that model # at lowes or my plumbing supply house . Same model # but completely different product and price the lowes is cheaper price and quality where the same model # fir the supply house has brass fitting but the lowes has plastic! So if you want to build a cheap house be my guest , direct buy isn't in business to lose $ and give you free stuff they like every business is In it to make money! Cheaper is not better and it is cheaper for a reason in most cases

I bought a "waterfall" faucet (don't remember the brand but it was a quality one) at Home Cheapo a few years ago. That sucker leaked around the knobs and two plumbers couldn't stop it. It cost like $90. I took it back for a refund. I went to a place here in town that sells faucets. Bought the exact same thing for $175 and it has never leaked once. Same thing with tennis shoes. Used to go somewhere like PayLess and buy them $100 Nike and Cons for $30. The sole would start peeling off two months later. "You get what you pay for."
