Keep scratching and clawing! Tough market to break into right now, especially in sales!

I'm thinking of going back to school for either a CWI or to get into the Safety Side of things, I just can't see myself like some of my fellow workers putting up iron till I'm in my 50's. It does not get any easier.

don't need a school for a cwi....just get you a 1104 code book and welding technology book. and study study study. also be sure you take the seminar it is very helpful.

be prepared though just cause you making more money don't make it easier. foreman's have it way easier than qc's. normally qc is overhead and they don't like having alot of them so you will be running your **** in the dirt most of the time. after climbing a tower 10 times in one day you gonna wish you were looking over 5 people instead of 5 forman's with 5 to 10 people each...

now just like anything there is a light after you put in some time and
make some contacts and get some more certs then you can go 3rd party. and make the big bucks and sit on your but and harass the qc's

if you have any questions on any of this stuff pm me i do probly 3 to 4 jobs a year while not doing fence as a qc
