raymond do you still train in vinton or around lake charles? i NEED to get drake back into training mode so i can get his blinds down good, ever since i moved out of my house i have done ZERO training with him other than just throwing dummies and makin sure he doesnt brake and throwin doubles...all is good there just need to make sure his blinds and hand signals are still where they were during season, on the other hand I believe he is enjoying the break especially since its soo hot.

Yes, I need to get off my A$$ and head to the Rhoads Ranch sat mornings for water work. It is hard to drag my butt out of the house without help though.

I haven't seen many dogs work well together. Especially males. My dog will throw down with any dog trying to take his ducks. But as your dog gets older it will get better. Mine 7 years old and he is all about ducks. I think he likes it more than I do and I love it!

You really need a chance to hunt with well trained retrievers. No offense.

Check out the retrivers thread on the third page in this forum and you can see a few of him. I would put him pretty close to 60lbs and he just started getting taller in the past month

He was not afraid of the water. I had my hip boots on and everything. Before I was even close to being ready he jumped in.

Raymond, I wanted to thank you again. I did what u told me and within 10 minutes he had it down. I even did short retrives and he handled the bird with no problems at all

He's been doing great!! I got a new job so haven't been able to work with him everyday like I was. We've been really working hard on the whole marking thing but it's getting better every time. I still have your number so I'll give you a call one afternoon.
