I may and I stress may take a trip today to Hopedale. I am looking to try out the new fly rod and the weather actually looks better today (midday) than it does tomorrow. I don't know how far Hopedale is for you but Big Lake is about 2.5 hours west of the Mississippi river.

Sometimes you can catch Redfish in the Lake Charles area.....Not too good right now....too much fresh water. Lake Charles would be just under 2 hours starting from the Mississippi river bridge.
