If you look hard enuff you can find them on ebay from time to time, I've bought several of the chronarch 100 D7s for around 200. Thats when they first came out, I havent looked at them in a while though. Also bought several of the 100 B series for really really cheap.

W, send me a price on the Chronarch 100D and my neighbor says he'll take a Calais 200DC for cheap. I gave him one and he loves it......bass fisherman.

All I own is Ambassadors with the exception of a Shimano Castaic. I love my reels.

o k ok i wasnt gonna get involved but ..... heres my two cents. i own just curados. in my opinion, again MY opinion, they are the best bang for the buck, they cast wayyyy the f out there and they are incredibly small and compact.now, ive never fished a chronarch, but i have fished a calais, and i must say that for 600 bux, ya can outcast that curao and a damn kite. i believe that the curado can be slung farther....imo

Retails for $650. The DC models don't cast like the CL model. No need to use that reel for saltwater fishing. Who needs "digital casting" for saltwater fishing.....except maybe Fool?

you need that digital crap to count how many times you back lash..



and dont say "fool you back lashed more than i do" I'm also throwing further than you. and i only use 2 breaks on my reel

What does it matter how far you can cast????? I thought it was more about how good you can work it, not how far you can throw it. Sound familiar?
