Just to change up, I thought we would try some live minnows today. For 2 hours, we soaked some of the finest, big, fat minnows you ever saw and didn't get one taker. Gave up and fought the wind to beat the grass beds again with the spinnerbaits and caught 14 fatties in 1 hour. Geaux figger!
River is fixin' to come back up so it should get better if it stays a couple of weeks.

Can't do much better than we have been with them crawfish lookin' things and Bombers. Hooked one on Pox's "LSU" Corky today but she ran under the boat and came unbuttoned. Looked to be about 4 lbs. |
