Catdaddy, if it's the Pierre Part area, I know the area fairly well and I'd sure be interested in goin if I'm not stuck on a turnaround. I caught a lot of frogs over there last year after crawfishin was over!

Let's find out where it's at and maybe we could team up.

A definite site has not been determined yet. Sounds like it will be somewhere between the Henderson to Ramma area but discussions are still in the works. This will be for fun. No money involved. Trophies, food, lodging, and door prizes are in the works. This will be a fun time and will be something different besides your ordinary fishing tournament. 5 biggest frogs win.

When I lived in Lafayette......I fished and hunted most of that area.

I hope the water goes down some by then. It is back on the rise.....18 feet is flood stage. Anything above 12' and most of the land is flooded in the Henderson area. River is above 16 feet now and still rising some.

Elevation above NGVD 1929, feet Most recent instantaneous value:
http://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/la/nw...te_no=07381515

I tried to post "picture" of the chart but it said it was an invalid file. How do you post the chart?

I said the same thing. Most of the levees and banks are under water now and it will be worse by March 27. The frogging will prob. be tough but a good time will be had.

They are looking at getting 8 cabins at Cajun Palms resort. They are $109 per night and sleep 6 so if you guys are interested we could go in on one. I have fished Henderson alot just have not frogged there. I have heard plenty of them while fishing but you would need airboat to get to them.

The Cajun Palms cabins are VERY nice. It's a real nice place pretty much geared towards the "party crowd".
