Well today is my birthday so I took off as always. Day started off bummed since my good friend got sick last night, and it was way past due for a trip. I actually went back inside and was going to go to work, but my wife insisted that I go fishing. That actually took more than you would imagine because I had little confidence after the front, but I went. To help my confidence I noticed all the cows sitting on the ground, then right after that I remember that my friend was supposed to bring me some more baits since I was out. It was not looking good. Well it took me a while to find confidence in a new bait, but once I found one I liked I starting throwing them in the boat!! Had lots of fun until I was on my way in and I came to a nasty grinding stop in the middle of the lake and had to troll with my trolling motor for 1.5 hours to the landing....

Also caught a 5lber that I didn't get a pic of because my phone kept turning off on me. I didn't get a 7lber though!!
