5-25-12 Calcasieu River
Well I hit the river this morning! I launched from White Oak and ran south to Dan's Bay. Alot of small fish. I had only one on a buzz bait and others on a June bug red speed bug by Bass Kandi. I then ran way north around Stackpole Island. the water was moving alittle and I ended up catching better fish. I ened the day with five keepers which went 14 inches each. They were tight to the timber. When I cleaned them they all had dark green and orange crawfish in their gut. Hope this helps someone out!!

Thanks for the report...
What kind of boat were you in ? I was only able to fish for 45 minutes before work called and I had to bag it for the day... I was at the mouth of Bayou Serpent, launched around daylight... Hydro
