12-26-11 Hunt
Took a buddy of mine to my spot near my house. The water level has come up so I am VERY pleased. We brought along the speck decoys and set them up. I don't have a blind so we did our best to hide on the levee. Right at shooting time a couple woodies flew in and died. The next group were two mallard drakes and two hens. Drake fell dead and got 1 hen. Over next couple hours we killed 1 teal and six greys. We did not see a goose in the sky. The fog had the ducks and geese grounded somewhere I guess. I am sure happy my hunts have improved.
