Yeh I would try Black's Marine. On the Evangeline Thruway next to Super 1. I think Academy carries them too.

That is where I found my last one that broke after several uses...they never have any in stock anyway. They gave me their last one from storage the first time I went to them.

Shawn......try giving Southside Welding a call. They are on Common st. a few blocks south of Cowboys.
I was there a few days ago, and I think I remember seeing some made out of Al there. |

I had a few alum. poles made. Most welders will make one for around $100, with a V
at the bottom and plug the end. They will float. Last forever. I hate the adjustable length ones. THey always break on me. |

Closet pole. Get em at Lowe's, Home Depot, Stines........... Cheap, easy and effective. Been using the same one for over 5 years now. Even better, you can go down to the local high school and see if dey got any old pole vaulting poles they don't use any more. Make great push poles.

Agree with big thick wooden clothes hanger rod at Lowe's or home depot and just get a metal duckbill for the business end of the push pole at Academy. Been using mine for years and no problems

The absolute best push poles are made at Southside Welding in Lake Charles on Common Street just down from Cowboy's nightclub. They run around $100 or less and are 12 or 14 foot long. They are absolutely the best for the money.
