I want to get one but i dont want a jack plate. I saw one mounted behind the motor on a 19ft frontier without the jack plate.

Does Anyone on here has their power pole mounted this way?

They make a bracket for that. If you get a 10' you have to get a braced bracket. The best way to mount one imo is to the transom above the waterline if possible. Ive done both.

I had that on my last boat Alpha. It was a bracket that went in between your transom and your motor. Worked good with a clean look. You just have to have something to pick up your motor. Thankfully I gots equipment for that.

Thats what i like about not having a jack plate. It looks clean plus im not adding much wait to the back.

i dont want purchase a jack plate if thats what your talking about.

He's talking about for the install. Like a motor lift or something. Bring it by my house we'll put it on. I have a tractor and some chains

10 foot blade and love it. mine sticks above the motor a good bit. i got a new phone or i would have a picture

thinking the same thing, about a 10 ft. PP. Only problem is that I have a 6" Bob's JP and would rather not mount it to the transom. Does PP make a bracket for this?

They do make brackets to fit on the jack plate itself now.

$100 difference between the 8' and 10'. might as well upgrade to the 10'...

I have an 8' and it flexes a good bit when it rough...ive watched Shaws 10' on the same boat as mine and it flexes a good bit too..not a whole lot more than mine though...I wouldnt be one bit worried about it Lawrence.
