only know what Tye at Trails told me....I've got a 225 Yamaha 4-stroke....

And does he sell this fuel treatment ? I bet he does. That's the only person I know who advocated ethanol fuel.

One more fuel additive that I use is Sea Foam, try about twice the amount they recommend. It may cure your problem, but I would also change my fuel line and bulb as others have recommended.
