Thanks. That does help alot. I've never been to the LSU weir. I also didn't know you could catch 10 lb. if the season isn't open. I guess that is so you can catch bait, too. Anyway, thanks for the help. I'll post how we do.

LDWF will hold their meeting about shrimp season around May 1st.. After that they will set the date for shrimp season.. Keep an eye on the newspaper for them to print the date cuz they usually do.. Usually mid May
