That trailer looks like it is made for a 22' or 24' boat.

How much weight is on the tongue of the trailer? If it is too much, then the boat needs to be moved back.

If the tongue weight is good, I would cut off the bulk board even with or a couple inches shorter than the back of the boat.

If you move the boat back some..... then it looks like the front of the trailer is longer than what is needed. I cut off about 15" off the front tongue on my new trailer when I bought the boat.

Another option would be to move the trailer axils up some, but this might be difficult..... can't tell from your pictures.

Something to consider is......for your size boat and it's weight, do you need 2 axils to support the weight? I don't know the answer to that.

IMO.... the most important thing is to have the correct weight on the trailer hitch.
