We've been catching a lot of trout this year over here in Texas under a totally fresh surface water. Fish have been on the bottom on mid bay reefs in 6-7feet. Sometimes the surface water has been ugly. Now trinity bay has been blown out and has been too fresh and for too long... those that are finding the fish right now are finding them very congregated and it's been an unbelievable year so far. Get out there and go find them, they are there.
Texas is a hole different place compared to vermillion bay.
