Default Grand Isle 11/10/09

I had to go do some work in Grand Isle yesterday afternoon and man was the water rough! The wind was blowing so hard that when the waves would hit up against the rocks on the north side of the road between Fourchon and Grand Isle it would blow the splash over the road! I had to put my windshield wipers on a few times and it was blue bird skies!!! Here's a pic I took while on my way down there, I couldn't believe how rough it was just right there on the side of the road (the pic really does no justice as to how rough it was)...

My brother in law and his oldest son tried to fish last weekend.
It was too rough to leave the dock.
They bounced all over the place after leaving the rocks behind the island.
They was hanging on for dear life they said.
