This reel casts further than my curado. Prob I had with both of my lews came when I was bass fishing and got a strike as soon as the bait hit the water. I set the hook at the same time as I "clicked" the spool from stopping and it misses gears before catching. Curado with upgraded boca bearings would be my choice.
