Buddy bearing on trailer

I had the same problem. I bought two different sets of buddy bearings the exact same size except a different brand and it fit. If that doesn't work you could buy a size larger and grind it down.

You have to remember when you grind something like that down you will not get it perfectly round and water can and will seep in, and for some odd reason water and grease usually ends up on the side of the road with a failed bearing.
