Beach report: sea weed has subsided
Hit Holly Beach (restored) Wed PM. A bit slow on the bull reds (one), but the sea weed has subsided with almost no sea weed in the water, but still plenty on the beach. We couldn't cast much further than the first sand bar with the stiff S wind. Some Asian fellows showed up about 7:00 PM and waded to the first sand bar and quickly caught several redfish on mullet by putting their baits further out than we were fishing them.
We caught a small (~3 ft) bull shark too, which contributed to our reluctance to wade.
