Default Big Lake Reds Stacked

Wish the trout and flatfish were on like the reds today. All three of us managed to get our cajun grand slams. Trout were small and hard to come by, flounder had size but the numbers were low, red fish made up for it all. Couldn't believe they were hitting so agressivly because it appeared they were about to pop the way they were so fat. Could have filled the boat up with em today. Stopped after filling the limit and worked on some trout and flounder. Lots of birds working the Lake with small trout under them. Water was rough but salty and not as muddy as we had expected. Not a day for the ones not willing to get knocked around on the water. Most caught on south end with mainly Gulp Alive New Penny Shrimp with 3/8 oz lead head on bottom.

Good report and NICE catch.....You were right about the Red's getting ready to pop....Looking at those ones in the bottom of the boat, they have a heck of a gut on 'em..

Not sure. We fought the wind and waves to much to pull out anything short of the net! Split up the fish and told everyone to go home and let me was my funky fish smellin' arse so I can get in bed and get some rest...after a cold one of course.
