In the pot you put about an inch of water and half a cap full of Zatarains liquid crab boil.

In the steamer part you put the snap peas, snow peas, green beans, asparagus with a little salt and pepper on them.

Steam them for 10-15 minutes or longer dependending on how "done" you like them.

That sounds dang good. Something I would have never thought of. Will have to try it.
