Default Trim tabs
I am looking at putting trim tabs on my 22' sea chaser. Which ones should I go with and why? Electric or hydraulic? I have one of those whale tail things now but I think tabs would be better.

Electric is quick and fast. Much less installation nightmare than hydraulic. But both are good. I have a 30 year old hydraulic system on my big boat. Never had an issue.

I found a set of 12x12 lenco tabs plus switch, (not led kind) for $548 no shipping. Does that sound good are should I keep looking?

Default trim tabs
if you need help keeping your bow down you may want to try wedges. you can order them from bobs machine. a lot cheaper than trimtabs.what type boat and motor do you have. i have a 19.6 with a 115 yamaha 4 stroke. i installed trim tabs , they do the job but they do slow you down.

Trim tabs help with leveling too. Especially when you have a load on one side, or you have a big fishing buddy. Or motor torque kinda pulls to one side.
