Obviously Nitramiii is one heck of a trout fisherman...not many around here that
can come up with a stringer of trout like he did. What I was referring to
was Slidellkids comment about no prospect of catching fish over here.
It seems like that most who visit from Louisiana come wanting to Fish our fishery like yours...It ain't gonna happen....we do not have anywhere near the Trout or Redfish that Louisiana offers. What we do have is a completely different. Our bay system offers a great fishery for Gag Grouper,
Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Gulf and Southern Flounder, Cobia and a scattering of Triggerfish and Tarpon.
So what I am saying is try our fishery for what it is and you will catch many different varieties that are available to us, And something different for you the fisherman to experience.
