Rod and Reel for Offshore fishing

I'm a big fan of the Ugly Stick Big Water Casting rods in 6 ft lengths. I have 6 of the above rods on my boat, and they are tough as nails and have the back bone to handle 50 lb power pro and fish up to 100 lbs if matched with a reel with sufficient line capacity. Still looking for the perfect reel, but I think my next set of reels will likely be the Diawa Saltist Line Counters.
