I just got back to BR. Thank you guys for all the texts offering boats to assist getting koris family out of their home. Southern151(Corey) thanks for letting me take your boat dude !! Went to LaPlace to get my fiancé parents out of a flooded house . Let me tell you I have never seen anything like what I saw today. When we got there we couldn't find a safe place to launch the boat so 2 go devils offered to take us to the house , jumped in and koris brother went to the house while me and another guy rescued people and brought them to national guard trucks, had one guy lie n say we were going to get a handicapped person but he came out of the house with a pit bull .... Pissed .... Got him and his dog in safe , got another family with 2 small kids . At this time say the boat with my brother in law and they had my in laws!! They went back to the truck I stayed out helping a few more people untill it got dark and cold because I gave my rain gear to a little kid . Back in BR now and we still freakin have power !!! Just got everyone fed. I'll post some pics n videos in a bit

I don't see an end in sight. This same feeder band has been hammerin' on us since about 8:00. It has not moved west at all. I have never seen it rain this hard for this long. These tornado watches are makin' me nervous...just one after another. My daughter wants to "go somewhere!!!" I told her to come look at the radar and tell me where she'd like to go. Transformers have been poppin' for a hour, but, amazingly....we haven't lost power yet.
