Just something to consider......

The hoses [hot and cold] on a washing machine stay pressureized all the time. The hoses have an average life of 5 to 10 years. I had a 5 or 6 years old hose bust [cold water] during the night and woke up to the kitchen area having 3/4" of water. The water was starting to soak into the Den carpet.

Changing a $ 10 hose is good insurance and peace of mind.
