Default Nice day at The Pernt

Had a Big Lake trip planned yesterday but wife not feeling too good, so was gonna go on Sunday. Bout 1 oclock she decided she wanted to be on the water, Big Lake too far, so decided to run over to Cyp Point for the first time ever. Fished the west side for reds a good bit, and figured we could get in the marsh on that side and catch some reds. Water looked great when we got out there and bait was flicking and a few pelicans here and there and I said we will make one little drift before we go redfishing just to see. 5 casts and 3 nice trout. Never had to drop the trolling motor, made 4 drifts and ended up with 20 trout in just a couple hours with the park in sight
