This is in a field not a marsh. We don't seem to have any trouble getting birds to come to us. We have been using this many decoys for several years now and it works REALLY WELL. If you notice, we have a "kill hole" directly in front of the blind and most of our birds squat right there. The ability to call doesn't hurt either.:*****:

We have to compete with huge (1000+ birds) bodies of birds around us. Since we went to the large number of decoys, we pull a lot of birds and even pull birds from extremely high that most people wouldn't even look at.

Went with Shawn to Johnson Bayou to grass the blind this afternoon. Lots of birds. Looked like mostly blue wing, mottle and a bunch of spoonies.
