Default High wind warnings!!!

Be aware High winds tue ,wed ,thur

IN ADDITION TO THE MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES WINDS WILL BE AN ISSUE
IMMEDIATELY AFTER FRONTAL PASSAGE. THE COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED PUSH
THROUGH MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA BY EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. ONCE
THE FRONT MOVES THROUGH WINDS WILL QUICKLY VEER AROUND TO THE
NORTHWEST AND PICK UP IN SPEED. SUSATINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 20 MPH
ARE EXPECTED OVER ALL LAND ZONES AT SOME POINT TOMORROW AFTERNOON
BUT OVER THE SOUTHSHORE SUSTAINED WINDS WILL LIKELY RANGE FROM 25
TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS APPROACHING 40 MPH LATE TOMORROW AFTERNOON
AND THROUGH THE EVENING. OVER ALL OF THE MARINE ZONES WINDS WILL
BECOME SUSTAINED AROUND 30 KNOTS WITH FREQUENT GUSTS TO 40 KNOTS
OR GREATER. THE TIME FRAME WILL LAST LONGER OVER THE WATER WITH
THE STRONGEST WINDS LIKELY OCCURING FROM LATE AFTERNOON TUESDAY
THROUGH MID WEDNESDAY MORNING. THESE STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS WILL
ALSO LEAD TO LOW WATER LEVELS ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI AND LOUISIANA
COASTLINE...AS WELL AS THE NORTHERN SHORES OF LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN.
WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BETWEEN A HALF FOOT AND A FOOT
BELOW NORMAL. A WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR COASTAL
LOUISIANA AND THE SOUTHSHORE OF LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN BEGINNING AT 4
PM CDT TUESDAY. A GALE WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FOR ALL MARINE
ZONES BEGINNING AT 4PM CDT TUESDAY

Ray... If u catch 5 call me..Today was on....we fished from daylight 2 dark..had our limit early...but went looking for big girls.... Had Birds and I mean huge groups all over the lake....went in West Cove and did not see one signal boat....saw 5 on south side this afternoon.....crazy.....huge schools of reds running the wash out to 9 mile....... U could catch 30-50 trout on one group of birds..

Yeah you could have caught 30 to 50 sand trout out of each set. Most of those birds are sand trout right now. Should be a little better after the front.

We did not catch one singal sand trout today.....but all we threw was super spooks and skitterwalks....lol.... We have some soild fish all day.... You know once u put 30 in the box they all get bigger

Isn't it funny how that always happens? When you want reds, you still catch trout, and opposite.

I was fishing a bank today where "I NEVER CATCH REDS" saw some needle gar jump out the water...threw + smash= REDS..... They would kill our spooks......but they did have a few nice trout with them
