Just throw at the bank with the trap and crankbait? What color crankbait you use? Thanks for all the input

Throw at the bank with the trap. color depends on water but chrome/blue back or chrome/black back works for me.

I use the manns when fishing along the bank. Ratltrap works better in a lil deeper water. Manns makes a crankbait made for reds but they are hard to find. I ordered some from this website.... http://fishcounter.homestead.com/MANN_BAITS.html I have had best luck with the "mid" version in the croaker color.

Dynamite baits for me... Montauk is right. you can cast to the bank or in deeper water. doesnt matter. Traps a searching bait for me most of the time.
