2 870s; 12 and 20 gauge and a .40 S&W. 12 and 20 were gifts, my pistol was the only gun I bought.

Marlin I believe got bought out by Remington and had these rifles on sale for like $299 at Cabelas.

I bought 2 youth models of the marlin bolt action in .308 for my boys. It has the savage trigger that is like a glock. It will over lap shots at a 100 yrds with factory ammo. Sweet little gun.

770 is heavy crap! get a savage, I bought a marlin xl7 cheap and accurate, no bolt lock only downfall.

I'm looking at a used savage 270 right now. I really like the stainless and black look. I picked up a 770 today and as soon as I picked it up, I gave it right back to the guy behind the counter. Wanna sell that Marlin Tim?
