Its time for me to get a new crawfish burner and a new pot ......... any advice on where to get one around Lake Charles?

You might try Gayles Hardware, Academy, or Stine Lumber, maybe Sams.

stainless steal is the way to go!!!
I love mine.
bought the burner from a guy on grand isle about 10 yeays ago and the pot about 4 years ago. looks like they will out last me!

Lake Arthur Butane and that Hardware store on Gulf Highway. I forget the name of it. Academy is probably the cheapest.

I bought an 80 qaurt from academy not to long ago, its not bad and was fairly priced.
Bought a burner with it i think all together it was around $130-$140

That's for aluminum pot w/ basket.
i bought the 100 qt w/ basket for $89 last fall from acadamey .
stainless would be 3X that price

Unless you know that you will allways have at least one other person to help you move it . Don't buy the 100 qt pot. Bastige is to heavy to move when 3/4 full.
Its nice when cooking gumbo for 100+ folks, but the 80 qt is plenty big enough.

Went to fergusons ......... Got a 100 qt pot ,basket, burner, regulator and a full bottle of propane $275
Pot is commercial grade
