Galvanized should't hurt as long as you're not inhaling the fumes. Don't use insaide for sure.

Josh, what's your email? I have one that I had made, never cooked in it and is double insulated. It is 4'x2'x2'. Sheet metal inside and large, deep coal box. email me at jp_cajun@yahoo.com
