On my boat I have 6 gauge wire from my battery(under back deck) to terminal blocks(1 for power and 1 for ground)located under the console and everything from my running lights to bilge pump is controlled by my switch panel. It took some time but if you use wire looms and tie straps you'll get a good clean look
