I have one of the older laminated wood grip/blued buckmarks and the little takedown semi auto .22 rifle with engraved receiver. I love both of them. I did hear of some minor issues with a new buckmark my buddy bought, hopefully his is an exception. People seem to like the Ruger mark II better than the mark III.
