I'm always down for a fishing trip! I don't know many spots since I've only been saltwater fishing a few years but I'll gladly tag along.

are there any areas on Bayou Petit Anse you can bank fish. Not far from there on Hazard Rd.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that everything on Bayou Petit Anse is private property.

OK you must be the one Jeff was telling me about today. That fool get it made riding around all day on a golf cart taking pics of me on a scaffold. Man I have been talking to the locals that work there and none of them really even fish. Don't understand that. Got to do some riding around next week so I can learn my way around there in the day light so I can start fishing nights since we are working 12 hours a day.

My dad will be working there also starting in 2 weeks. He worked there for a little over 20 years before they laid him off. He just got laid off from a company at the port in New Iberia 2 weeks ago and Shaw will hire him back.

I live about 2 miles from where your camper is at,you are welcome to park your boat at my place.My dad also works at shaw,in the tool room.The specks should be firing up anytime now,i am offshore right now,but would be glad to show you around.

You can fish from the bottom of the RR tracks on the south side of the bridge on either side of the canal, you can fish the north side of the bridge on either side of the canal or you can walk the "boardwalk" and fish off the warfs where all the sinking shrimp boats are tied up at.
