where do you get the vantage or image at? I am always fighting weeds in the flower bed but I do it with round up and a spray bottle....I'm sure that is not the right thing to do so I am looking for advice.

I get it from my nursery you can use round up,just gots to be alot more careful. If you have a pump sprayer, and using roundup, only pump it a few times,so as not to make too much pressure which makes more mist and drift in the wind. The image and vantage is a selective herbicide which can be sprayed around most plants and in covergrasses without a problem.

i appreciate dat man. Most of the time we try and stay pretty competitive with the big box stores though. Try checking with a nursery around there,or sometimes feed stores will handle chemicals too.

I buy all my lawn and garden and pet food from my local feed store, Raceland Ag, he is cheaper than the big box stores on many things.

depends on type of weeds...2,4-d for broadleaf leaves, atrizine for leaves with parallel venation, and Roundup for everything.

I see atrizine is the active ingredient in the weed and feed for St. Augustine, can I get just the artizine, I am not to fond of the feed part, makes my grass grow too fast!
