Now for the rest of the story,
Bet he didn't have GPS or VHF.
Had no clue where he was or where he was going.
Glad he and his family were rescued , BUT he never should have been out there in the first place.
Another fool w/ enough $$$ to buy a boat ,But not enough sense to learn about using one.
