I can see the headlines in the paper..."LARGE SIZED TROUT POPULATION DECIMATED DUE TO MIRRORLURE CORKYS"

Corkys will geaux down in value next month when I kick Bruce's azz with my Bombers. As cmdrost said, this is becoming comical. You can buy 15 Bombers for the price of 3 Corkys?

I agree they will go down in value. The mirrolure is the exact same. So those selling originals for extreme profit.....I mean those buying originals at etreme prices are crazy!

I saw the Corkys at Academy in Lake Charles a little while ago.
But all they had was pink ones. Not the jointed ones or the ones with the tails either.
Just the plain looking ones.

jointed ones are not corkies. They are rubberbacks.

Tails are devils.

While I was shopping for some really small spoons with a regular hook, not a trebble hook,
some guy was standing right in front of the Corkys. He asked the girl if they had any and
they both looked around for them. She said she couldn't find them so they must be out.
I said, "these are Corky's"
The guy said, "It don't say Corky on the package".
I said "But they are Corky's".
He said "But it says Paul Brown Original"(or something like that).
I said "He was the manufacturer of them but sold to Mirrolure".
He looked on the back it said Made in Costa Rica.
He said "I know Corky's and these are not Corky's, they are not made in Texas".
I said, "Well then, they must not be Corky's".
Then the girl came back and opened a box with the exact same thing in it and said
"These are Corky's".
He said "Those are not Corky's".
I found my spoons and got the heck outta there.

No, he really knew what he was talking about, so I just shut up and found what I was looking for and left.
He will be looking for a long long time.
